The fact that the city of Kirkwood is doing so much to heal broken bonds made from race, stereotypes, and segregation is astounding. The fact that this process is being attempted is such a monumental step that it opens the opportunity for further improvement in the community.

I think they should keep weed illegal because it messes with your mind and knowing family members who do it hurts that they have changed from a great brother/sister into somebody I dont even know anymore. because of weed my family and alot of my friends are no longer the same.. my friend has died because of it. Out of all of my friends im the one who wont do it and wont drink.. Kirkwood has the worst reputation for weed.”kirkweed” needs to go and make it back to the original name of kirkwood…so to everybody who is reading this go ahead and smoke. All i know that everybody I know that smokes is changing and ripping my life apart

We invite the students and staff of Kirkwood High School to attend a reading from our book, “Longing: Stories of Racial Healing,” at the Schlafly branch of the St. Louis Public Library on Wednesday, July 7th at 7:00 p.m.
