On Feb. 5, NHS hosted the 2019 blood drive. I decided to participate this year and donate a liter of my blood for the very first time. I made this comic to illustrate my unexpected experience. First, the whole ordeal lasted an hour and thirty minutes, way longer than I expected. Second, I was way more nervous than I should’ve been and that made everything take longer. Third, the snacks were great. So my advice would be: take a deep breath, be patient and smuggle as many snacks out as you can.
