Celebrity conspiracy theories
September 29, 2016
Queen Bey definitely had an amazing post-baby body. However, speculation arose about whether she achieved her fit physique through diet and exercise or through a surrogate in order to maintain her image. Questions started rising after Beyonce’s 2011 interview on Australia’s Sunday Night, when her baby bump appeared to collapse as she sat down. Then, reports later said Jay and Beyonce spent $1.3 million to secure the fourth floor of Manhattan’s Lenox Hill Hospital. Allegedly, hospital workers were told to cover up all security cameras and turn in cell phones as they arrived for their shift. Was it really for security reasons? Or were they trying to hide something…or someone?
2.Is Lorde really 19?
The “Royals” singer might not be as young as she says she is. When she came into the pop scene, spectators doubted the deep lyrics and her sophisticated fashion could really match up to her supposed age of 17. Instead, they deemed her a 45-year-old (47 now) using a younger persona to gain a larger fanbase. Followers of this conspiracy went further, dissecting her interviews, among them her Rookie interview where she said that The Virgin Suicides really resonated with her “as a teen” when she was a teenager at the time. She has also released statements about how she worries that celebrity culture is causing a negative effect on youth today, and what 17-year-old would have the audacity to say that? Pretty spooky.
3. Was Britney Spears a government distraction?
Legend has it Britney Spears didn’t shave her head because she was going off the deep end, but instead because the president at the time, George W. Bush, paid her to distract America from his own drama. Exhibit A: On Jan. 5, 2004 someone in Bush’s crew leaked the identity of undercover CIA agent Valerie Plame. In the same week, headlines reeled over Britney marrying Jason Alexander in Las Vegas, just to be annulled 55 hours later. Then in November 2006, 33 Senate seats and 435 House seats were available and the public was not favoring the Republican Party. The day before the decision, Spears split from Kevin Federline causing major shock in the media. Even stranger, the night Bush reported on the re-creation of Al-Qaeda, Spears slipped out of rehab and in arguably the most iconic moment in 2007, she shaved her head AND attacked paparazzi with an umbrella. Later, Spears declared her unwavering support for Bush in Fahrenheit 9/11.
4. Is Khloe really a Kardashian?
On this episode of “Keeping up with the Kardashians”… The internet is convinced something isn’t right with Khloe, believing that OJ Simpson was not just lawyer Robert Kardashian’s most famous client, but also Khloe’s dad. Khloe even asked Kris during an episode of “KUWTK” if she was adopted, after noticing her darker complexion and how much taller she was than her sisters (5’10 vs. 5’0 and 5’2). Kris took a paternity test and it came back positive, but there was no confirmation about who her father was. Then in her 2011 memoir Kris Jenner… and All Things Kardashian she discussed the affair she had during her marriage with Robert Kardashian, just before the time she had Khloe. Also during her marriage with Robert, the Simpsons and Kardashians went on multiple vacations together and their kids were friends. The rumors died down after Kris went on “Good Morning America” in 2012, calling the notion ridiculous and comparing it to the rumors about how her husband Bruce Jenner, was a cross-dresser with a secret collection of wigs and women’s clothes.
5. Are Tom Cruise’s relationships fake?
Here comes the bride… And the wedding contract? That was the case for Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Apparently, the Church of Scientology held auditions for Cruise’s next bride-to-be and Holmes received the role, beating out Scarlett Johansson and Lindsay Lohan. Supposedly, the contract entailed receiving $3 million for every year she was with him. After five years of marriage, they split in 2006, when Holmes was 33, the same age Cruise’s past two wives were when he split with them. Plus, in Scientology, 33 is an important number; The first church was allegedly founded on the 33rd parallel and in Scientology 33 stands for spiritual enlightenment. Holmes and Cruise’s marriage ended just in time, an apparent prenup was set that gave payments to Holmes in case of divorce, starting after five years of marriage.
