The Halloween season is coming up and when you think of the season  you think of candy. Students at KHS share what kind of candy they are and what kind of personalities it highlights from them. Junior Sam Rochleau and sophomore Marin Boswell, explain the candies they find similarities to.  

“I would be a salted caramel truffle because they are so elegant and reflect my ability to handle any situation with charm. The center highlights my sweet and outgoing personality,” Rochleau said. “A hint of salt adds a twist on my adventurous side, and shows how I can be a little sassy sometimes.”

Sam said this describes her well and thinks it a unique type of candy, just like her. Carmel truffles have been her favorite candy for a while. Boswell takes a different approach on hers by explaining how she acts to others but also how others treat her. 

I feel like this relates to me because I am a nice person but I think that sometimes I can be a little rude or just sour to myself or others,” Boswell said.  

She said sour skittles describe her because she can be sour sometimes, but also happy and kind. She said other people also treat her in ways she explained herself.

“And I feel like this is how other people may treat me too because even though they are sour, people still like them and you never really know what the next one is going to taste like,” Boswell said.
