Emily Ferguson, KHS Class of 2011 graduate, died in a head-on collision early Friday morning.

Ferguson was driving west in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 at 3:17 a.m. when she struck a box truck, according to the Saint Louis Post Dispatch.

A 19-year-old sophomore at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Ferguson was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision, according to Kirkwood Patch.
