Girls’ Swim and Dive place 4th at Parkway South Invite

KHS’s girls’ swim and dive team competed at the Parkway South Invite Jan. 16-17 placing 4th of 10 teams at the Parkway South Invite.

After the first day of prelims, KHS came back to finals with 17 consolation swims, the most out of any other team. Furthermore, throughout the two-day meet, two new state cuts were achieved. Audrey Kelly, sophomore, made the state cut in the 100-meter backstroke and KHS’s 200-meter freestyle relay, consisting of Bridget Sheridan, senior, Emma Gagliarducci, senior, Maggie Dickherber, senior and Maggie Cox, senior, achieved the state cut.

Prelims began Friday at 4:30 p.m. and finals took place Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.
