KSD announces action plan for coronavirus
Dr. Michelle Condon, KSD superintendent, sent an email showcasing the school district’s plan in response to COVID-19 at 6 p.m. As of now, KSD will resume school Tuesday, March 24.
KSD advises families to contact the school office if plans have been made to travel outside the U.S., since it is considered high-risk travel. Plans have been submitted to the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education that, in the case of school cancellations, integrate “e-learning” days (in which students will complete all classwork online) in order to maintain state requirements for attendance. During spring break, the district will continue preparation for online learning, and will update students and staff when necessary.
