Spring sports athletes are now resuming play for the 2021 season, after the 2020 spring sports season was canceled due to COVID-19 lockdowns. Beginning March 15, KHS will follow the guidelines set by local health officials and the St. Louis Suburban Public High School Athletic and Activities Association for events on campus. Under the different circumstances athletes will have a limited number of spectators in the stands. All spectator guidelines are in place to ensure the safety of student-athletes and everyone in attendance for the duration of the upcoming season.
Indoor Events: (Water Polo and Boys Volleyball)
Two family members per athlete are allowed for indoor sports. Each spectator must be tracked for contract tracing by scanning and filling out a QR code, wearing a face mask and following social distancing procedures.
Outdoor Events: (Baseball, Boys Golf, Girls Lacrosse, Boys Tennis, Track and Field)
Spectators for all outdoor activities, except track and field, will be allowed to attend events. Face masks must be worn at all times and social distancing must be practiced.
When playing outside the Suburban Conference, teams will follow the guidelines of that region. Further limitations may be put in place depending on space availability. Schools will communicate these specific restrictions prior to the event.
As the season progresses, MSHSAA Post-Season Events spectator guidelines will be communicated prior to the postseason events.
