KHS Weekly Updates 10/6/21: PSAT, conferences, no-homework weekend
KHS department chairs met to discuss the week on Wednesday Oct. 6.
PSAT: Juniors will take the PSAT test the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 13. All class periods will meet that day, pushing block schedule days to Thursday and Friday. First, second, fifth and sixth hour will meet on Thursday, Oct. 14, and third, homeroom, fourth and seventh hour will meet Friday, Oct. 15.
Parent/Teacher Conferences: Virtual Parent/Teacher conferences will be held on Monday, Oct. 18, and in-person conferences will be held Thursday, Oct. 21.
Midterm/No-Homework Weekend: Friday, Oct. 15 is the midterm and end of the first quarter. Students do not have school Monday, Oct. 18 and Tuesday, Oct. 19. That weekend will be a catch-up weekend, meaning teachers will not assign work or have any exams or projects due the day students return.
