The opinions section of TKC is a diverse place. This past year, it’s been filled with light-hearted debates over fast food restaurants and internet slang, as well as more serious stories over national topics like the Boy Scouts of America including girls. Each cycle, the entire staff of TKC convenes to discuss both easy and tough topics, writing editorials to pose our collective opinion behind a well-researched topic. Opinions puts emotion behind news in the community and the world. The best opinions stories of 2017 stories share grief, euphoria, frustration, accusations and solutions to provide insight on important topics for the community; to make news a little more human.
