The Kirkwood Varsity poms team had their first competition of the season on Sat. Dec. 12. at Lindbergh High School, where they placed 3rd overall.
“[This season] has been going really well, this team has bonded really fast,” Sara Mattingly, junior, said. “We all love each other so much so it makes it easier for us to work hard and do good in our performances, which is super rewarding.”
