Veteran’s day at KHS Nov. 11, 2022
On Friday, Nov. 11th, KHS hosted a large group of veterans in an annual event inviting veterans to come to the school and talk during history classes. This gives the students an opportunity to hear their individual stories and learn more about what it means to serve. Many veterans, like Micheal W. Heyer, ended their talk with words of encouragement.
“If you all have a dream, go after that dream.” Heyer said. “And don’t let anyone take that dream from you.”
