Photo Gallery: Kirkwood boys basketball brings home another trophy
On Friday, Jan. 27, the Kirkwood boys basketball team won the Parkway West Circle 7 Ranch tournament against De Smet High School. This victory continued the teams undefeated season, whose record stands at 17-0. With only seven games left in the season before districts, Evan Simon, sophomore, had high hopes going into this game, which was against his old high school.
“I am excited because I get to play against my old school,” Simon said. “It feels good to be able to play on a stage you alway wanted to play on and on Friday night with a big crowd and a pretty good school [and] I love the atmosphere.”
