The Kirkwood varsity football, cheer and dance teams gathered with the rest of the Kirkwood community to celebrate KHS’s Class 6 football State championship victory Dec. 3, 2016. Tim Griffin, Mayor of Kirkwood, Farrell Shelton, head varsity football coach, Tom Williams, Superintendent of the KSD, Dr. Michael Havener, principal of KHS and Corey Nesslage, athletic director at KHS, presented brief speeches to commend the football team members and coaches on their achievement.
