The Kirkwood swim and dive team practiced after school Jan. 25, 2019. This practice was right after the senior night meet.
“It’s not that stressful to prepare [for upcoming swimming conferences] because we taper, meaning we do less and less each practice,” Joslynn Gura, freshman, said. “[Swimming for KHS is fun] because I’ve been swimming for nine years. My dad talked up his high school swimming a lot and [swimming for KHS] is a different [experience] than I thought it would be. It’s not club and it’s not some league, it’s somewhere in between.”
