On Monday, 01-09-2012, detectives arrested an adult female for stealing money.
The employer of the woman discovered the thefts which had occurred several
times during the previous month. The case will be referred to the St Louis
County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for review.

On Tuesday, 01-10-2012, at 2:17 p.m. police received a report of a disturbance
at an eatery in the 300 block of South Kirkwood Road. An adult female and adult
male were involved in an argument. The male broke the female’s cell phone. He
was arrested for destruction of property. At the time of his arrest he was also in
possession of marijuana.

On Tuesday, 01-10-2012, at 8:21 p.m. officers responded to a motor vehicle
accident near the intersection of Big Bend and Carriage Circle. One vehicle
changed lanes and struck another vehicle traveling the same direction. One of
the drivers, an adult male, was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.
He was arrested.

On Friday, 01-13-2012, at 10:47 p.m. police stopped a motorist for a traffic
violation in the 400 block of North Kirkwood Road. Investigation led to the
arrest of the adult male driver after he was found to be in possession of illegal
narcotics.

On Saturday, 01-14-2012, at 12:38 p.m. a resident from the 300 block of
Chicago reported a residential burglary. Patrol officers and detectives are
investigating.

During the week of Monday, 01-09-2011, through Sunday, 01-15-2012,
Kirkwood Police arrested two adult females and one adult male for shoplifting
merchandise from area businesses. All offenses occurred at a retail store in the
1200 block of South Kirkwood Road. One of the males was also charged with
being a minor in possession of alcohol since he stole liquor and was under the
age of twenty-one. One of the females was found to be in possession of illegal
narcotics and related drug paraphernalia at the time of her arrest.
