Police Beat: 3/23-3/29

On Monday, 03-23-2015, at 11:11 a.m. police responded to a destruction of property report in the 200 block of Monclay Court. A brick had been thrown through the window of a front door.

 

On Tuesday, 03-24-2015, at 11:15 a.m. police received a call of a suspicious vehicle and possible drug use located in the 800 block of Rochdale. Officers arrived and located two individuals in two separate vehicles.  Investigation led to the arrest of one individual for possession of drug paraphernalia.  The other was also arrested for possession of marijuana.  Both cases were referred to municipal court.

 

On Thursday, 03-26-2015, at 7:16 a.m. officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Barberry for a property damage report.  A vehicle parked at the residence had all four tires damaged and numerous scratches carved into the paint.

 

On Friday, 03-27-2015, at 12:52 p.m. a resident from the 600 block of Norfolk called police to report property damage.  The resident discovered that an unknown substance was poured onto his vehicle causing damage to the paint.

 

On Friday, 03-27-2015, at 4:15 p.m. officers were dispatched to a residence in the 12100 block of Old Big Bend for a burglary report.  The homeowner reported a surround sound stereo system stolen from the home.

 

On Sunday, 03-29-2015, at 12:09 p.m. police were summoned to the 1000 block of Krauswood for a theft report.  A resident reported her purse was stolen from her vehicle sometime during the previous overnight hours.

 

On Sunday, 03-29-2015, at 2:06 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 900 block of Barrett Station for an attempted burglary.  The homeowner discovered a muddy footprint near the door handle on a front door.  No entry was made to the home.
