On Monday, March 19, elderly homeowner on Huntercreek Ridge Court was told by caller to get $3000.00 in gift cards because he going to be arrested today by the IRS if he didn’t. The owner followed the caller’s orders and then gave the caller the code on the back of the gift card. He was told to mail the card to an address in Washington D.C.

On Monday, March 19, a female took clothing from H&M in West County Center and fled in a silver van.

On Tuesday, March 20, a fugitive was arrested on a traffic stop on eastbound Manchester Road at Old Des Peres Road.

On Tuesday, March 20, a resident on Highland Avenue stated that his chainsaw was stolen from his ATV on his property.

On Wednesday, March 21, police and fire responded to someone choking at McDonald’s on Manchester Road. Patient refused to seek medical attention.

On Wednesday, March 21, female that was driving the wrong direction on Manchester Road had warrants and was arrested. Bond was taken and subject was released.

On Wednesday, March 21, St. Louis Physical Therapy on Manchester Road was receiving repeated offensive calls from an unknown number.

On Wednesday, March 21, a group of females stole merchandise from Victoria’s Secret in West County Center and exited the mall by California Pizza Kitchen. Approximately $1869.00 worth of merchandise was taken.

On Thursday, March 22, female stole a dress from Akira at West County Center. Retail price of the dress is $34.90.

On Thursday, March 22, victim reported that his American Airlines credit card had some fraudulent charges on it.

On Thursday, March 22, two females shoplifted several articles of clothing from Victoria’s Secret at West County Center. The amount of the theft was $1495.00.

On Friday, March 23, male and female stole $735.25 worth of merchandise from Victoria’s Secret at West County Center.

On Friday, March 23, female stole $40.00 shirt from the Buckle at West County Center.

On Saturday, March 24, two females were taken into custody for stealing at Forever 21 at West County Center.

On Saturday, March 24, male sole Adidas clothing from Macy’s at West County Center. Suspect fled across Ballas Road but was taken into custody by road units.

On Sunday, March 25, male and female stole merchandise from Victoria’s Secret at West County Center.

On Sunday, March 25, an employee at Schnuck’s on Manchester Road was assaulted by another employee while at work.

 

Glendale Police Department

 

On Monday, March 19, a resident of the 900 block of Victoria Place reporting receiving a package from Amazon which had been opened and the contents were missing. Investigation revealed the box was delivered empty and was verified by a photo taken by the delivery service and provided to the resident. Amazon agreed to replace the shipment at no cost.

On Tuesday, March 20, a 23 year old St. Louis man was arrested at the Bellefontaine Neighbors Police Department and charged in Municipal Court with Failure to Appear on a Stealing charge and as a Fugitive of the Missouri Division of Probation and Parole. After pleading guilty to the Stealing Charge, he was released to the Division of Probation and Parole.

On Tuesday, March 20, a resident of the 700 block of Edwin Avenue reported several solicitors going door-to-door selling roofing work without a City Solicitor Permit. They left the area prior to police arrival.

On Thursday, March 22, a man’s wallet was found at a construction site in the 700 block of Bismark Avenue. The owner was located and the wallet was returned.

On Sunday, March 25, a resident of the 700 block of Belvedere Lane reported a suspicious occupied vehicle in front of his residence. The driver, a 19 year old O’Fallon, Missouri man, was asked to leave the area.

On Sunday, March 25, a resident of the 700 block of Brownell Avenue reported finding a mountain bike near his residence. The owner was located in the 700 block of Chelsea Avenue and the bicycle was returned.

 

Kirkwood Police Department

 

On Monday, March 19, 2018, officers were dispatched to a business in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road for a fraud report.  The victim reported two fraudulent charges on their credit card at that business.

On Tuesday, March 20, 2018, an officer responded to the 500 block of Scott for a burglary report.  The victim said an unknown person had entered the residence and stolen a paint sprayer.

On Tuesday, March 20, 2018, a resident in the 1900 block of Windy Hill Drive reported a red, white and blue yard sign taken.  The colors were in the pattern of the American flag.

On Wednesday, March 21, 2018, an officer responded to the 500 block of Couch Ave for a reported theft from one of the residence.   An employee was suspected of the theft. Investigations by police lead to an arrest of the employee. The incident will be referred to the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

On Thursday, March 22, 2018, police responded to the 500 block of S Kirkwood Rd reference the destruction of property.  The victim reported a black male wearing a black jacket, plaid shirt and stocking hat broke out the window of his vehicle.  

On Thursday, March 22, 2018, police respond to the 1200 block of S Kirkwood Rd for a stealing report.  The police stopped and arrested eight individuals for the theft. All eight were issued a summons for misdemeanor stealing.  One attempted to flee and was also issued a summons for resisting arrest by flight.

On Friday, March 23, 2018, an officer was dispatched to the 10900 block of Manchester Rd for a reported theft. The victim reported a white male, driving a white Oldsmobile Intrigue filled up with $44.41 in gasoline and drove off without paying.

On Saturday, March 24, 2018, an officer responded to the 1200 block of S Kirkwood Rd for a counterfeit report.  A white male suspect attempted to pass a counterfeit $100.00 bill. That counterfeit bill was kept by the business and turned over to the police.

On Sunday, March 25, 2018, an officer responded to the 400 block of N Kirkwood Rd for a larceny report.

On Sunday, March 25, 2018, officers responded to the 1200 block of S Kirkwood Rd for an assault report.  A suspect was taken into custody for assault 2nd, property damage and fugitive warrant for Edwardsville, Illinois. The Kirkwood incident will be referred to the St Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.  The suspect was transported to St Louis County Jail and held for Edwardsville Police.

During the week of March 19 through March 25, 2018, four cases of shoplifting were reported and investigated from businesses in the 1000-1200 block of South Kirkwood Road.

Additionally, during the week of March 19 through March 25, 2018, the Kirkwood Police Department responded to 19 residential/business alarms, 28 motor vehicle accidents and assisted the Fire/EMS Department on 66 calls.
