On Wednesday, March 7, a male & female did a “grab and run” from Victoria’s Secret at West County Center.

On Wednesday, March 7, an 18 year old student was to return home by midnight but never made it home. Subject returned home in the morning on 3/8/18.  Missing person cancelled.

On Thursday, March 8, subject slumped at the wheel on Manchester Road was arrested for DWI. The prisoner was later transported to Des Peres Hospital due to excessive BAC (blood alcohol concentration). Subject later advised staff she was suicidal. Subject is also wanted by St. Charles Count for child endangerment.

On Friday, March 9, two males stole a hoodie and sweatshirt from The Foot Locker at West County Center.

On Saturday, March 10, a yellow Porsche convertible lost control and drove into the yard of a house on Fairoyal Drive.

On Saturday, March 10, shopper stated that she wallet was stolen from her purse at Charming Charlie at West County Center.

On Saturday, March 10, three vehicle car accident on Dougherty Ferry Road. One driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

On Saturday, March 10, shopper at West County Center reported that her daughter lost her cellphone.

On Saturday, March 10, two females stole shoes from the Finish Line at West County Center.

On Saturday, March 10, male walked into Victoria’s Secret in West County Center and stole $2832.40 worth of shirts and pullovers.

On Sunday, March 11, juvenile threw a rubber ball at a car in the 270 parking garage.

 

Glendale Police Department

 

On Tuesday, March 6, a Jeep key fob was found near the intersection of Highland Place and Sappington Road. The key fob was brought to the police department for safekeeping until the owner is located.

On Wednesday, March 7, a resident of the unit block of Nolan Drive reported his credit card number was used to made a fraudulent online purchase. Police are investigating.

On Thursday, March 8, a resident of the 1100 block of Brownell Avenue reported a fraudulent account was opened approximately four years ago with Comcast Cable using his personal information.

On Friday, March 9, a resident of the 1300 block of Monier Place reported persons unknown filed a fraudulent 2017 federal tax return using her personal information. She was referred to the IRS for reporting purposes.

On Friday, March 9, a resident of the 900 block of Brownell Avenue reported she was the victim of an online scam from unknown persons claiming to be from Microsoft. After approximately 15 minutes of speaking with the individual, she discovered this was a scam and turned off her router. She was advised to change all passwords for any online activity.

On Friday, March 9, a resident of the 900 Glenbrook reported her credit card number was used to make several fraudulent online purchases earlier this week near Atlanta, Georgia.

On Saturday, March 10, a resident of the unit block of Country Club Terrace reported hearing a strange noise coming from her spare bedroom. Officers discovered the noise was coming from her smoke detector, which was indicating a weak battery. Officers changed the battery for the resident and the noise stopped.

On Sunday, March 11, a resident of the 900 block of Brownell Avenue reported her house was “egged” sometime during the night. Family members reported hearing strange noises between 12:30 AM and 1:00 AM, but did not investigate at the time.

 

Kirkwood Police Department

 

On Tuesday, March 6, 2018, an officer responded to the 400 block of Kirkwood Rd for a larceny report.  The business reported theft of a pair of shoes. A follow up investigation resulted in the arrest of 19 year old female suspect.

On Wednesday, March 7, 2018, an officer responded to a vehicle lock out in the 10400 block of Manchester Rd.  While obtaining vehicle owner/driver information the incident resulted in a fugitive arrest for the City of Manchester.

On Wednesday, March 7, 2018, an officer responded to the intersection of E Maple and N Taylor for a property damage report.  It appeared an unknown person had damaged a truck window with a BB.

On Wednesday, March 7, 2018, an officer responded to a suspicious person call in the 10100 block of Manchester Rd, which resulted in an arrest for possession of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.  The case will be referred to the St Louis County Prosecuting Attorney.

On Thursday, March 8, 2018, an officer responded to the 1200 block of Bent Oak Ct for a fraud/forgery report.  The victim stated unauthorized charges were placed on her Visa Debit Card at a service station in the Kansas City area.

During the week of March 5 through March 11, 2018, two cases of shoplifting were reported and investigated from businesses in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road.

During the week of March 5 through March 11, 2018, along with regular calls for service and traffic enforcement, the Kirkwood Police Department responded to 22 residential/business alarms, 26 motor vehicle accidents and assisted the Fire/EMS Department on 62 calls.
