Des Peres Police Department


On Monday, November 5, 2018, stealing at West County Center. Employee in custody for stealing.

On Monday, November 5, 2018, stealing on the 1000 block of Lindeman. Subject ran eastbound on Manchester, police unable to locate.

On Tuesday, November 6, 2018, property damage to elevator control panel at West County Center, Juvenile was observed doing the damage.

On Thursday, November 8, 2018, officers responded to the 1000 block of Des Peres Road for a fight in progress. Friends tussling on the gym floor. No one was cooperative and all subjects left.

On Friday, November 9, 2018, suspicious person at West County Center. Suspect was previously banned from Mall and issued a summons for trespassing.

 

Glendale Police Department

 

On Monday, November 5, 2018, police responded to a report of a vehicle off the roadway in the 900 block of E. Essex Avenue. The driver misjudged the intersection and drove off the roadway. A tow truck was dispatched to safely remove the vehicle.

On Thursday, November 8, 2018, police and fire units responded to a report of an unoccupied vehicle fire in the 1200 block of Glenvista Place. A full sized Ford Econoline van was fully engulfed in flames upon arrival. The fire was extinguished by the fire department. The fire apparently started in the engine compartment of the van. There were no injuries.

On Friday, November 9, 2018, a resident of the 1200 block of Brookside Drive reported two solicitors from AT&T going door-to-door in his neighborhood without proper solicitor permits. Police searched the area to no avail.

On Sunday, November 11, 2018, a Webster Groves man reported his vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle while it was parked in the 100 block of Elm Avenue sometime between 11:30 PM on Friday, November 11, 2018, and 6:00 AM on Saturday, November 10, 2018.

 

Kirkwood Police Department

 

On Wednesday, November 7, 2018, a suspicious activity call in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road led to the arrest of two individuals for possession of heroin.

On Friday, November 9, 2018, a bottle of liquor was reported stolen from a convenience store in the 11100 block of Manchester Road.

On Friday, November 9, 2018, a vehicle was reported stolen overnight from a residence in the 300 block of West Essex. In the early morning hours of Saturday, November 10, 2018, the vehicle was recovered in the St. Louis City area. Detectives are investigating.

On Friday, November 9, 2018, officers responded to a single vehicle accident at the South Kirkwood Road and Big Bend intersection. The driver of the vehicle was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

On Saturday, November 10, 2018, officers responded to the 400 block of South Holmes for a stolen motor vehicle report. The suspect was a family member who did not have permission to drive the vehicle. On Sunday, November 11, 2018, the suspect returned home and caused a disturbance. Police responded and took the suspect into custody for motor vehicle theft, resisting arrest and damaging a police vehicle. He was held at the St. Louis County Justice Center with a $25,000 bond.

On Sunday, November 11, 2018, officers and Kirkwood EMS responded to the area of South Kirkwood Road and Chester for the report of a subject having a bad reaction to illegal drug usage. The subject was examined and transported to a local hospital.
            
During the week of November 5, 2018, through November 11, 2018, one shoplifting case was reported and investigated from a business in the 1000-1200 block of South Kirkwood Road.

During the week of November 5, 2018, through November 11, 2018, along with regular calls for service and traffic enforcement, the Kirkwood Police Department responded to 33 residential/business alarms, 20 motor vehicle accidents and assisted the Fire/EMS Department on 71 calls.
