Des Peres Police Department

 

On Monday, December 10, 2018, larceny report from a building 11600 block of Serama Dr. Package was taken from a mailbox shipped by FedEx and USPS did the final drop off in the mailbox.

On Monday, December 10, 2018, domestic assault in the second degree in the 13200 block of Manchester Rd.

On Monday, December 10, 2018, lost or stolen wallet from a customer in the 13300 block of Manchester Rd.

On Wednesday, December 12, 2018, two females taken into custody after stealing from West County Center. One suspect was issued a trespass summons and transferred to Town and Country.

On Thursday, December 13, 2018, two suspects were arrested for stealing a purse at West County Center. The adult suspect was released on summons and a the juvenile was referred to family court.

On Thursday, December 13, 2018, a car drove into the lake along Dougherty Ferry and the entrance to St. Luke’s Des Peres Hospital. Suspect said he was not driving and “Juan” (no last name) was driving. Juan was not located. Officers proceeded into chest deep water to check the vehicle for occupants. There were no occupants located in the vehicle. A witness reported that a subject had got out of the car and left the area. The occupant was located hiding in a bush at St. Luke’s Medical Building. Kirkwood ambulance conveyed him to St Luke’s ER. Officers were treated on scene for exposure to the cold water.

On Friday, December 14, 2018, suspect arrested and charges with petty larceny for shoplifting in the 12300 block of  Manchester Rd.

On Saturday, December 15, 2018, stealing at West County Center. Subject arrested for destruction of property and released on a summons.

On Saturday, December 15, 2018, MasterCard/College ID card found in the 12700 block of Manchester Rd. Secured in locker # 10 until owner can pick up.

On Sunday, December 16, 2018, a suspicious person was reported at West County Center. One female juvenile taken into custody for trespassing and one male adult taken into custody for assault on a law enforcement officer, interfering and resisting.

 

Glendale Police Department

 

On Monday, December 10, 2018, a 49 year old St. Louis man was arrested in the 200 block of Austin Place and charged in Municipal Court with driving while suspended and expired license plates. He was released on bond.

On Tuesday, December 11, 2018, police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 1000 block of Glenway Drive. The male suspect fled on foot and was located in the 1300 block of N. Sappington Road. He was served with an Order of Protection and agreed to leave the area and not return.

On Tuesday, December 11, 2018, police responded to a domestic disturbance in the unit block of Elm Avenue. Officers were able to deescalate the situation without further incident.

On Thursday, December 13, 2018, a Kirkwood resident requested police assistance in locating two packages which Amazon inadvertently delivered to her previous address. Police were able to locate one of the packages and return it to her. It was not clear whether the second package was delivered at all.

On Saturday, December 15, 2018, police investigated an injury vehicle crash near the intersection of N. Berry Road at W. Kirkham Avenue. The vehicle apparently slid off the wet pavement and struck a utility pole. The driver suffered minor injuries.

On Saturday, December 15, 2018, a resident of the 900 block of Dwyer Avenue reported solicitors from “Renewal by Anderson” going door to door without a proper solicitors permit. They were advised to cease until a proper permit was obtained.

On Saturday, December 15, 2018, a resident of the 800 block of Glen Elm Drive reported solicitors from “Renewal by Anderson” going door to door without a proper solicitors permit. They were advised to cease until a proper permit was obtained.

On Sunday, December 16, 2018, police responded to a report of a tree down across the roadway near the intersection of N. Berry Road and W. Lockwood Avenue. The tree was actually located within the City Limits of Webster Groves. The scene was turned over to Webster Groves Police and Fire Crews and Ameren Missouri.

 

Kirkwood Police Department

 

On Monday, December 10, 2018, a female shopper in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road reported a white male, in his mid-30’s, with dirty blonde hair and short scruffy facial hair, sitting in an older blue vehicle masturbating. The incident occurred around 4:50 pm. The subject was gone upon police arrival.

On Tuesday, December 11, 2018, Kirkwood Police Officers and Kirkwood Fire/EMS personnel responded to the area of South Kirkwood Road and I-44 for a reported vehicle into the water retention pond. The responding personnel made every effort possible to rescue the occupants of the vehicle, unfortunately; both occupants of the vehicle were pronounced deceased. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is handling the accident investigation.

On Wednesday, December 12, 2018, a resident in the 900 block of Simmons reported a glass jar containing about $15.00 in change missing from the center console of his vehicle. The vehicle had been left unlocked overnight.

On Friday, December 14, 2018, a vehicle accident in the 200 block of West Argonne led to the arrest of one of the drivers for driving while intoxicated. The case will be handled in Kirkwood Municipal Court.

On Saturday, December 15, 2018, two vehicles were broken into while parked in the 11700 block of Cragwold Road. Both vehicles had windows broken and multiple items stolen. The responding officers are investigating.

On Saturday, December 15, 2018, officers investigated an assault between two male subjects at a restaurant in the 100 block of West Argonne. The primary aggressor was arrested and charged with assault.

On Sunday, December 16, 2018, a retail business in the 400 block of North Kirkwood Road reported a shoplifting incident which occurred on Saturday, December 15, 2018. The suspects reportedly stole several North Face jackets.

During the week of December 10, 2018, through December 15, 2018, four shoplifting cases were reported and investigated from businesses in the 1000-1200 block of South Kirkwood Road.

During the week of December 10, 2018, through December 15, 2018, along with regular calls for service and traffic enforcement, the Kirkwood Police Department responded to 22 residential/business alarms, 32 motor vehicle accidents and assisted the Fire/EMS Department on 54 calls.
