Photo gallery: Kirkwood JV track meet Apr. 10
The Kirkwood track team held their JV meet on Apr. 10, starting at 4p.m. The meet lasted through the night, with 6 boys teams and 7 girls teams competing. Kirkwood took first place in both divisions.
“This track season has been a bit of a challenge, but it’s very fun because I like having something to do after school every day,” Taylor Shoemaker, junior, said. “Track is different from other sports because they focus more on your personal achievements and because they try to make you not only better athletes, but better people.”
