The Pioneers win 35-27 against Rockwood Summit on Oct. 10. KHS perseveres to win the game, despite losing starting quarterback, Cooper Wise, to an ankle injury in the first quarter. “I was very proud of [the team] because they overcame a lot of adversity,” said Wise, sophomore, when asked about the teams comeback. The game was the last of the season, with Oct. 17 game against Ritenour being canceled.
