KHS students try name-brand and off-brand soda

We tested KHS students to see if they could tell the difference between name-brand and off-brand soda. Using Coke, Sprite, Fanta and their off-brand counterparts, we were able to see whether name-brand soda was actually better then the cheaper off-brand competitor.

KHS hosts African American Achievement Awards

104 students received the African-American Achievement Award during a ceremony held in the Keating Theater during homeroom Feb. 11. The award is given to any black student with a 3.0 or higher GPA.  The ceremony also recognizes the top three  black students in each grade. Each student received their award and listened to guest speakers.
