Three of my top water bottle recommendations: The FreeSip, the Hydro Flask and the IceFlow.

From the popular Stanley’s to the classic Nalgene and Takeya, to the nostalgic Hydro Flask and the hot new Owala, there are so many water bottle brands out there. But which one to pick? Here are my top three recommendations.

Starting off with the Owala FreeSip: This stylish, BPA (an industrial chemical) free, insulated and leak-proof water bottle is a popular choice. It comes with a straw, but you can still chug it if you prefer. The FreeSip fits easily in a cup holder and looks super cute. It also has a lock that doubles as a handle. This water bottle is aesthetic as it is functional, and can also be easily taken apart and cleaned.

Price: Starting at $27.99 for a 24oz, and $32.99 for the 32oz, this water bottle is excellent quality for an affordable price.

Size options: So. Many. Sizes. It’s almost overwhelming to pick. From 19 oz, to 24 oz and 25 oz along with the 32 oz and finally, the 40 oz, there are plenty of options. It’s perfect for everyone from the always thirsty, to the casual sip-throughout-the-day kind of people.

Colors: With fun names like “Water in the Desert”, “Retro Boardwalk” and “Blue Oasis,” you can’t go wrong. There are so many options and styles for each size that you will never get bored.

If you were hesitating before, now is the time. Go get it now, I promise you won’t regret it. I give this water bottle a 10/10. This water bottle honestly helps me drink more water throughout the day.

It’s perfect for everyone from the always thirsty, to the casual sip-throughout-the-day kind of people.

Next up is the Stanley IceFlow: This design is slightly different from the Quencher (which has the handle on the side) but doesn’t leak. A leaky water bottle sucks, so this one is a better option than the Quencher. With a flexible handle on top and the classic Stanley insulation, your ice won’t melt for a while. This water bottle fits in a cup holder and is easy to clean.
Price: $30 for 20oz $35 for 30oz. Decently priced for a solid water bottle, yet still a bit on the expensive side.
Size options: Also multiple options, ranging from 20oz to 96oz.
Colors: Cute, simplistic colors. They have plenty of neutrals with a few bright pops of color available as well. They also have a seasonal section with colors only available for a limited time.
This water bottle is great for keeping water icy cold, doesn’t leak and has a good selection of colors and sizes. If you were hoping to get a Stanley but want a water bottle that is leakproof, this is for you. I give the Ice Flow a 8.5/10.

A leaky water bottle sucks, so this one is a better option than the Quencher.

Last but not least, the Hydro Flask: This is a more simplistic water bottle, but adding some fun stickers can elevate it. Despite this water bottle bringing us all back to 2019 and the era of VSCO girls, the bottle has excellent insulation and works for both warm and cold drinks. It also has a flexible handle that makes it easy to carry around school. Remember the days of making friendship bracelets on the handle? You can still do that!

Price: At $44.95 for the 32oz Wide Mouth, this is the most expensive option of this list.

Size options: Multiple sizes and styles from lids with straws and without. There’s a 24 oz, a 32 oz and a 40 oz.

Colors- The Hydro Flask has a nice color selection with many bright colors. Unfortunately, there aren’t many neutral colors so if that’s what you’re looking for, the Hydro Flask may not be the best option.

This water bottle is a great option if you want something simple but functional. There are no fancy features, but this no-frills water is great at insulating water. It’s more expensive, but worth it. I give it an 8/10.

Even though the Owala FreeSip is still my top choice, all of these water bottles are awesome options. These functional yet stylish choices are perfect to take your water bottle game to the next level.
