Photo Gallery: Girls varsity basketball game Feb. 23, 2023
On Feb. 23, Kirkwood varsity girls basketball hosted a game against Pattonville High School in the Denver Miller gym. Despite losing 27-59, the girls worked well together and didn’t give up.
“[The team] continued to push forward,” Emma Appel, sophomore and varsity basketball player, said. Appel also said the team communicated well during the game.
Austin Tate, junior, retrieves the ball from the opponents and dribbles down the court.
