Flowers are a fun tradition and accessory for homecoming if ordered on time

Boutineers and corsages

Get your flowers as early as possible. You don’t want to be calling stores the night before or day of homecoming trying to order flowers. Being prepared is always helpful when it comes to homecoming plans. It’s traditional for people going to homecoming together to get corsages or boutonnieres for each other. Some suggestions for places to order from are Schnucks, Dierbergs or Kirkwood Florist. However, you don’t need to follow that tradition. If you are not going with a date, you can always get one for yourself or match with the friends you are going with. If you are getting them for someone else, ask them what they are wearing to homecoming, and if there is a color of boutonniere or corsage that they would like or they think would match well with their outfit. If flowers aren’t your style, you can get creative with matching bracelets, pins or the outfit colors.
