The incident at KHS no one told you about

Ha! You thought. Happy early April Fools! Every year in elementary school, I anxiously awaited the start of April for one reason: April Fools. I begged my parents to buy me a fake cast, glasses or anything that would confuse my classmates. Even though I  looked extremely silly in my “glasses” when the lenses were cut out. Now, as a junior at KHS, I love to celebrate the day of pranks. Here is a guide to having the best April Fools Day.

Now, as a junior at KHS, I love to celebrate the day of pranks.

6: Tape Under Faucet: Tape a penny under your faucet, and make sure your most annoying sibling goes to wash their hands. The water will be directed right back. The best thing about this prank is that it only takes a minute to set up. Just don’t forget to put a towel on the floor.

5: Toothpaste Oreo: If you are a longtime prankster, you have to know this one. It’s one of my favorites. All you need to do is switch out the icing in the Oreo for toothpaste and you are set. Put some toothpaste Oreos in your sibling’s lunch, with a note saying it was from someone else. They will be excited with the new food and be unaware of the surprise awaiting them. You could also bring them to school and share them with your friends.

4: Googly Eyed Fridge: While I have never done this one, it seems cute and funny. Buy some googly eyes from Target and head to your fridge. Put the googly eyes on all your fruits and veggies and whoever opens the fridge will think they are hallucinating. It’s a great way to have fun and not do much damage.

3: All talk, no game: For the weeks leading up to April Fools, or even the day of, tell everyone you know that you are a great prankster. When they ask what you do, give them no clues. Just let them sit around waiting for bugs and spiders to jump out all day.

2: Jello Igloo: If you are a fan of  “The Office”, you will know this one. Grab a random item from your annoying sibling’s room, and place it in jello. Then put it back in the spot you got it from. When they wake up and see it, they will be frustrated and confused. Just don’t forget to put the mold in the fridge overnight.

whoever opens the fridge will think they are hallucinating.

1: Photo Frame Swap Out: If you have TikTok, I’m sure you have seen this idea. Replace the photos in your house with photos of random people. Even though your family members might not notice this right away, it will throw them for a loop when they do. And if you really want to take this prank to the next level, when they ask about it, pretend that it is a family member.
