The Greentree Parade took place on Saturday, Sep. 16 at 10a.m. This year marked the 62nd annual Greentree Festival which was kicked off Saturday morning with the Greentree Parade. Businesses, schools, teams and more decorate floats each year to drive through the parade and earn an award. This year’s competitive theme was Transportation Then & Now. Ryan Cook, senior, discusses her experience of riding a float in the parade.
“We got to ride on the KHS Athletics captain float,” Cook said. “My favorite part of being in the parade was seeing friends and family.”
Sasha Boyd, senior, leads the KHS Dance Team in the parade.
