Photo Gallery: Greentree festival

On September 15, 16, and 17, the annual Greentree festival took place at Kirkwood park, bringing together the community through various celebrations. This event included various tents with food, games, companies, crafts, and a folk life area. One group that attended this event is the group Teens for Climate STL. They staged a protest march through Kirkwood park. Teenager Hazel Johnson says that she is mostly concerned about peabody coals.

“My main focus is spreading awareness about the fossil fuel industry.”
