People with and without disabilities will come together to participate in the annual KHS Unified Night Lights game.

At KHS’s upcoming annual Unified Night Lights event, hundreds of students will assemble at E. L. Lyons Memorial Field Wednesday, Sept. 29, starting at 6 p.m. Students with and without disabilities will come together to participate in a flag football game. KHS varsity football players, band and pommies are also participating. The event was started at KHS in 2016 by Farrell Shelton, former KHS varsity football coach, and has continued since then.

It is free of charge to enter the stadium for Unified Night Lights, but cash donations can be made at the entrance. All proceeds are going to KHS’s Special Education department. The first 500 students to enter the event can get a t-shirt or a treat from Pioneer Bakery, with a chance to win a $100 gift card.
