The KHS varsity boys’ basketball season will begin with three road games, starting with the season opener against Mehlville on Tuesday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. The Pioneers’ first home game will take place against Parkway Central on Tuesday, Dec. 14, with tip-off time at 6 p.m. 

Following the home opener, KHS will face off in an road matchup against Webster Groves at Roberts Gym on Friday, Dec. 17. Forward Addison Schroeder, senior, said he looks forward to showing off what the team has been working in preparation for this season. 

“The whole culture of hard work and discipline was set, and very emphasized last year,” Schroeder said. “Having that set in stone, and me [and my teammates] all going through that last year, has definitely impacted our ability to play basketball.”
