Valero Alamo Bowl: (-6.0) 20 ranked Texas vs. 12 ranked Washington

Horns up for this game. Even though Texas is ranked 20th, they should have no problem dealing with Washington. The Huskies had an easier schedule this season with only three wins over ranked teams, with one of those being in the top 10. Texas, while losing three games to ranked teams, only lost two of those by 1 touchdown  or less.

TaxSlayer Gator Bowl: (-3.0) 21 ranked Notre Dame vs. 19 ranked South Carolina

This will probably be the closest bowl game this year. On paper, both teams match up pretty evenly. Both have scored about 30 points per game but South Carolina has given up 27 points per game compared to Notre Dame’s 20. However, the Gamecocks are coming off of back to back wins against Tennessee and Clemson and should be able to beat Notre Dame

Capital One Orange Bowl: 6 ranked Tennessee vs. 7 ranked Clemson (-7.0)

It’s a battle of orange teams in this year’s Orange Bowl. This game should also be extremely close. Both teams are coming off upsets against South Carolina and both teams only have two losses. This is really a toss up but I think Tennessee will win this game. They’ve had more points scored and only three more points allowed per game with a harder schedule. But, Clemson could very well take home the oranges this year.

Allstate Sugar Bowl: (-3.5) 5 ranked Alabama vs. 9 ranked Kansas State

Let’s be honest. Alabama is still Alabama. Whether or not they’re in the College Football Playoff (CFP),  they are still a top five team. Kansas State may have just beat TCU in the Big 12 championship game, but they’re Kansas State. Bama is better in every category. The Wildcats could pull off the upset, but the Crimson Tide should have little problems taking this one home.

CFP semifinal at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl: 3 ranked TCU vs 2 ranked Michigan (-7.5)

Michigan is 13-0 for a reason. They are extremely good. And with star running back, Blake Corum, returning from injury, they just got even better. Nothing more has to be said, TCU just lost to Kansas State and will probably get absolutely demolished  by Michigan.

CFP semifinal at the Chick-fil-a Peach Bowl: 4 ranked Ohio State vs 1 ranked Georgia (-6.5)

Ohio State limped their way back to the playoffs thanks to Kansas State. OSU, after just losing to Michigan, will come out with a vengeance to show that they belong in the CFP. But, the Bulldogs’ defense is just too good. Only giving up 12.8 points per game, especially in the SEC, is pretty insane. Georgia should take care of business but Ohio State could definitely steal this one.

Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic: 16 ranked Tulane vs 10 ranked USC (-1.5)

USC has one of the best quarterbacks in college football, Caleb Williams. He just won the Heisman and is extremely good. Williams should be able to take USC to a bowl game win. Tulane probably won’t be able to hold the Trojans down, only winning two ranked games, both against teams in the top 20. Even though their defense has been pretty atrocious this year, the Trojans should have no problem winning this game.

Rose Bowl: 11 ranked Penn State vs 8 ranked Utah (-3.0)

This should be one of the better Rose Bowl games in recent memory. But I think Utah will come out on top. Penn State has only played two ranked teams and they lost both. They were against Michigan and Ohio State but Utah just beat a very good USC team. It will be a close game, but the Utes should take the dub.

CFP National Championship: TBD vs TBD

I think that the National Championship will be Michigan vs Georgia. Both teams will be undefeated and coming off tough wins. But like I said earlier, Georgia’s defense is too good. Michigan will definitely put up a good fight, but the Bulldogs should be able to go back to back. Who knows though, the Wolverines could also win this game. It will be a memorable one for sure.
