The Cockerline sisters

The Kirkwood Call asked Alyssa Cockerline, junior, and Annie Cockerline, freshman, ten questions about themselves and then asked the same ten questions about the other to find out how well these siblings really do know each other.

Alyssa about herself:

Favorite color: “I like too many colors to choose a favorite.”

Most embarrassing moment: Falling (too many times)

Biggest pet peeve: Smoking

Secret talent: Triathalons

Dream job: Teaching children in less fortunate countries

Annie about Alyssa

Most embarrassing moment: My parents told her that she was adopted as a joke and she took them literally and spent the entire day crying and in denial.

Biggest pet peeve: When people sit on her bed

Secret talent: Shes awesome at dancing in the car

Dream job: Teaching orphans in Africa

Alyssa: I am fortunate enough to have two sisters, both who I am very close to. For me, my sisters are my best friends, and no matter what I know they will always be there for me. My sister’s and I are very weird together and probably the biggest goofs you will ever meet, but I love them both very much.

Annie about herself:

Favorite food: Yo My Goodness

Most embarrassing moment: “Last year during my communication arts class I had a huge wad of Watermelon Bubblicious in my mouth and the kid next to me said something really funny and I laughed so had the gum shot out of my mouth and landed on his leg. The whole class saw.”

Biggest pet peeve: When people talk with food in their mouth

Secret talent: drawing

Dream job: dentist

First thing she does in the morning: “She tries to avoid yelling at people. Annie is not a morning person.”

Annie: Alyssa is obsessed with running, tries really hard in school, and loves to laugh. We have really different personalities but we get along really well. When we’re together, we always have a lot of fun and laugh a ton. She always knows what to say and do. She’s helped me a lot this freshman year with who I want to be and setting goals for my future. I couldn’t ask for a better sister.
