They did what? Danny Zofness, walking counselor and filmmaker

Before Danny Zofness, walking counselor, stood among students in the hallway, he stood among actors and N.F.L giants as a film assistant. After being asked to work as an on-filed film assistant from a friend who worked for the television and film studio N.F.L films, Zofness was able to work next to Tony Romo, Terrell Owens and Stephen Jackson.

“I think Stephen Jackson’s thighs are as big as my waist,” Zofness said.

Though he enjoyed his moment as a film assistant for NFL films, Zofness’ real passion comes for a wider range of filmmaking. He worked on the production of the independent film How I Got Lost, as well as creating other projects with friends in the film industry. With dreams of his future as a filmmaker still uncertain, Zofness hopes to pursue his next biggest dream.

“If I can’t make movies for a living,” Zofness said. “ I want to be a teacher.”
