KHS wins fine arts education award

 

In recognition of the fine arts education program at KHS, the school has been selected to receive the 2011 Missouri Alliance for Arts Education/John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Schools of Excellence Award. It is a state-level award that is presented by the Missouri Alliance for Arts Education in cooperation with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Schools of Excellence in Arts Education award program.

KHS will receive the award at the MAAE Fine Arts Education Day at the State Capitol in Jefferson City May 3 and will be sending representatives of the fine arts programs to accept the award on the school’s behalf.
