On Monday, 04-09-2012, at 10:23 a.m. officers received a delayed report of a
larceny at a retail store in the 1000 block of South Kirkwood Road. The victim
reported her cell phone stolen from her purse while shopping at the store a few
days prior.

On Monday, 04-09-2012, at 10:46 a.m. police received a report of identity
theft from a resident in the 1300 block of Briarcreek. The resident reported an
unknown person attempted to open a credit card account in his name and have
the card sent to the state of Maryland. The card was never sent by the credit
card company.

On Monday, 04-09-2012, at 10:11 p.m. officers responded to a report of subject
harassing customers at a business in the 11100 block of Big Bend. The subject
left after police were called. Officers stopped the subject in the 900 block of
South Kirkwood Road. The adult driver was found to be driving under the
influence of alcohol and was arrested.

On Tuesday, 04-10-2012, at 11:34 a.m. a resident from the 200 block of Gilbert
reported an identity theft to police. The resident received a credit card she had
not applied for through the mail. She called the credit card company and was
advised an online purchase in excess of three hundred dollars had already been
made using the credit card. The account was immediately cancelled by the
victim.

On Wed 04/11/2012, detectives arrested an adult in reference to a theft of
a credit card in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood road. The original incident
occurred during the week of 11-07-2011. The case will be presented to the St
Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for review.

On Wednesday, 04-11-2012, at 2:17 p.m. police were contacted by a resident
of the 400 block of West Jefferson in regards to a scam. The resident reported
answering a classified ad concerning an employment opportunity advertised in
a local newspaper. The victim received a check from the perspective employer,
cashed it, and then returned some of the funds via Western Union. The
perspective employer did not exist and the check was found to be fraudulent.
Detectives are investigating.

On Wednesday, 04-11-2012, at 4:03 p.m. officers arrested four adults at
Meacham Memorial Park, 334 New York, for gambling. One of the adults fled
from the area on foot but officers arrested him a few blocks away. He was also
found to be in possession of marijuana at the time of his arrest. A juvenile was
also taken into custody for gambling.

On Thursday, 04-12-2012, at 2:41 a.m. police responded to the intersection of
South Kirkwood Road and Big Bend for a motor vehicle accident. One vehicle
left the roadway and struck a light standard. The adult driver of the vehicle was
found to be driving under the influence of alcohol and was arrested.

On Thursday, 04-12-2012, at 7:19 a.m. officers responded to a business in the
100 block of East Jefferson for a report of property damage. Three windows to
the business were broken during the previous overnight hours.

On Sunday, 04-15-2012, at 12:15 a.m. officers responded to a report of a
suspicious person at a business in the 600 block of East Elliot. The suspect was
located and further investigation revealed that he was at the business to steal
property. The male suspect was arrested for stealing over $500 and property
damage.
