According to Time magazine, prom can be traced back to co-ed promenade dances held for American college seniors in the late 19th century. By the 1940s, most high schools hosted a prom for the graduating class. The Kirkwood Call dedicated this section to delivering the information students need about this year’s Greek-themed prom held at Union Station for all juniors and seniors May 12. From the decision to tan before the big night to a list of “What’s Hot” for guys and girls, there is something for all inside.
