When life gives you lemons, sell lemonade

The normal chaos of the lunch room was heightened April 6 due to one thing: lemonade. Every year Bryce Bunton, business and marketing teachers, has his advanced marketing class have a boys against girls lemonade stand.
“A lemonade stand is symbolic the the simplest form of a business,” said Bunton.
Each team tried to sell the most lemonade per person. Everything from advertising to display took part in the success of the stand.
“We were raffling of a date with Caroline [Bequette, senior] and were dressed really cute and we had fun music playing,” Chelsea Goodman, senior, said.
The boys team hoped their slogan, “Yellow Fever,” would help their sales.
“Yellow fever is an epidemic. It’s contagious, so get caught with it,” Ryan Morton, senior, said.
In the end, the girls were victorious. Both teams combined made a total of $323.63, and all proceeds will go toward their trip to the DECA International Career Development Conference Orlando, FL from April 29 to May 4.
