Meg and Anne Hellwege, twins, give The Kirkwood Call an inside look on what its like being a part of the Hellwege sisterhood. The Hellweges, sophomores, are both members of the Kirkwood varsity volleyball team.

The Kirkwood Call (KC) : What is the best memory you have with you sister?

Meg: It would probably be going to the beach together when we younger. Most of the time it would be just me and Anne spending time together because my brother and sister always had friends with them.
Anne: Just playing on the same court as her. Playing any sport together with her.

KC: Rate her driving skills from 1 to 10.
Meg: Probably a seven or an eight. She’s really cautious but she runs over curbs.Anne: Eight. She just doesn’t seem like a ten to me, but she’s getting there.

KC: What is your favorite color?
    Meg: Purple
    Anne: Blue

KC: What is your favorite food?

    Meg: Mmm. Chocolate.
Anne: I would have to say ice cream. No, chicken. I don’t know.

KC: What is your favorite restaurant?
    Meg: Bread Company
    Anne: Bread Bar

KC: Which type of food do you like better: Chinese or Mexican?
    Meg: ChineseAnne: Mexican

KC: Which soda would you rather have: Coke or Sprite?
    Meg: Sprite
    Anne: Sprite

KC: Which fruit would you rather eat: Apples or Bananas?
    Meg: Apples
    Anne: Apples

KC: Which snack would you rather eat while watching a movie: Popcorn or Chips?
    Meg: Popcorn
    Anne: Popcorn

KC: Is she more like a sister or more like a friend to you?
Meg: I guess it’s both, but more like a sister. It’s just the things that we say to each other are more sister-like. She can criticize me and I can criticize her, and we would be fine with it. Or the things we talk about; it doesn’t really go past each other. We can talk to each other about anything.

Anne: Probably like a sister because I can tell her anything and she wont go and spread it around. And we can talk about anything together.
