These two Republican candidates entered the race but haven’t gained a lot of momentum.. 

Joe Walsh, 57

Conservative talk show host

Important issue: reducing the national debt.

Served one term in the House with the support of the Tea Party, a group that supports both personal and economic freedom for Americans.

Fun fact: He is a middle child of nine. 

Bill Weld, 74

Former governor of Massachusetts

Important issue: Supports LBGT and abortion rights and tax cuts.

Weld is known as a black sheep in the Republican party, advocating for both Democrat and Republican ideals. 

Fun fact: He worked as a lawyer on Watergate.
