Chocolate-covered strawberries

Recipe adapted from tastesbetterfromscratch.com.

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces semi-sweet chocolate
  • 2 pounds fresh strawberries

Makes about 30 strawberries.

Instructions

  1. Wash the strawberries. Dry thoroughly to ensure the chocolate sticks to the strawberries.
  2. In a medium bowl, microwave the semi-sweet chocolate in 30 second intervals. Remove bowl from microwave and stir at every interval until chocolate is fully melted.
  3. Holding a strawberry by its stem, dip into melted chocolate and lift out, twisting the strawberry slightly. Repeat for every strawberry.
  4. Chill strawberries in the refrigerator until chocolate hardens (about 15 minutes).
