Police Beat: 12/2-/12-8
On Monday, December 2, 2013 police took a report of fraud in the 1200
block of South Kirkwood Road. Purchases were made on a credit card that
was not authorized at two different stores in Kirkwood. The owner still has in
his possession the credit card.
On Monday, December 2, 2013 police recovered a bicycle in the 400 block of
Meacham Street. The bicycle was brought to the station awaiting the owner.
On Saturday, December 7, 2013 police took a larceny report from a
residence in the 500 block of South Geyer. Approximately 50 feet of copper
guttering was taken from the residence.
On Saturday, December 7, 2013 police took an identity theft report from
a victim in the 400 block of Clemens. Victim stated her credit card number
was used in an attempt to purchase over $900 of electronic items from a
website. Victim still had in her possession her credit card.
Kirkwood Police arrested two adults for shoplifting merchandise from an area
business during the week of Monday, 12-02-2013, through Sunday, 12-08-
2013. The incidents occurred at a retail store in the 1200 block of South
Kirkwood Road.
The Department responded to numerous weather related calls to assist
motorist. Fortunately, most of the damage was limited to dented fenders
and pride in some accidents.
