    Week 10: Quad OT
This past Saturday the 4-5 Missouri Tigers headed to Knoxville, Tennessee to play against the 4-5 Tennessee Volunteers. The teams entered the game with the same thing in mind: to win two of their last three games in order to be postseason eligible. There was a lot on the line.

Mizzou would come out victorious in this game winning 51-48 in quadruple overtime and moving their record to 5-5 and 2-5 in SEC play. The game was a combination of running, passing, and defensive plays which allowed it to be the best so far for the Tigers. James Franklin, quarterback, had undoubtedly his best by completing 19 of his 32 throws for 226 yards, four touchdowns and one interception. This was a remarkable of Franklin that no one had seen so far this year. Although his counterpart Tyler Bray threw for 404 yards and four touchdowns, Franklin still lead his team to victory. Kendial Lawrence, running back, and Dorial Green-Beckham, wide receiver, also lead the way in the Tiger win. Lawrence rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns with one touchdown being a 77 yard run in the third quarter putting Mizzou back into the game. Then Green-Beckham having caught two passes for touchdowns and with one tying the game up at 28-28 in the fourth making the game go into OT, and the second giving the Tigers a 48-42 lead in the third OT.

the special team also cntributed to the Tiger win. Jimmie Hunt, returner, took an 87 yard kickoff back for a touchdown late in the first quarter making the score 7-7. Then in the first overtime Hunt caught a 24 yard pass from Franklin giving Mizzou a 35-28 lead. The offensive was playing superb so when kicker Andrew Baggett was given the opportunity to finally win the game for the Tigers, he was ready. Finally in the fourth OT Andrew Baggett kicked a 35 yard field goal winning the game for Mizzou at 51-48 bringing the postseason one game closer than before.

The mentality and overall fight of Mizzou was amazing. This win will bring a lot of momentum into next weeks game at home versus Syracuse. Until then MIZ-ZOU.
