The boys varsity basketball team played at Marquette High School on Jan. 21, 2022 and won 57-54. Kirkwood varsity basketball is currently 6-6 with only 9 games left in their season. The boys basketball program has been gaining more attention this year, not only through the level of play but also through their instagram.
“I think the most important thing is trying to get people to come to the games,” said Julia McDonald, junior and boys basketball social media manager said. “When there are more people watching it really motivates them to play better.”
