Police Beat: 10/28-11/3
On Tuesday, October 29, 2013 police responded to an assault in the area of
Woodbine and Ballas. The victim reported being stabbed by an acquaintance in
the 1900 block of Boaz. Police responded to the residence and arrested an adult
suspect. The case was presented to the St Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s
Office where charges of assault 1st
The adult was transferred to the St Louis County Jail.
On Saturday, November 2, 2013 police received a report of identity theft
from a victim in the 600 block of Norton. The victim discovered unauthorized
withdrawals had been made from a bank account since August 2013.
On Saturday, November 2, 2013 officers responded to a residence in the
1200 block of North Geyer for a report of identity theft. The resident learned
unauthorized purchases were made using the victim’s debit card number. The
victim still had possession of the debit card.
On Saturday, November 2, 2013 police were dispatched to the 100 block of West
Jefferson for a larceny from a vehicle. A St Louis Cardinals pullover was stolen
from a parked vehicle. The vehicle’s door lock was damaged in order to gain
entry.
Kirkwood Police arrested an adult for shoplifting merchandise from an area
business during the week of Monday, 10-28-2013, through Sunday, 11-04-2013.
The incident occurred at a store in the 1200 block of South Kirkwood Road. The
case was referred to municipal court.
