The varsity boys’ basketball team took on Parkway Central Tuesday, Feb 6. The game ended 68-43 as a loss for KHS. The boys’ team has struggled in recent games, as they have not won their last five games. This losing streak could be in part to star point guard Damien Loyd, junior, facing shoulder injuries. Loyd is set to return for the district game, where hopefully the team can turn around their cold streak and make a deep run in the playoffs.  “We hit a little rough patch, but it feels like we’re getting out of that right now, so hopefully at this part of the season we can improve” Brad Lay, junior, said. “We feel that we can win our district, we just need to focus on our assignments.”
