Kirkwood varsity boys’ soccer beat Parkway South 3-1 Nov. 6, 2019 for the district championship title. According to Mark Corley, senior, the team’s success comes from their morale. “We share the ball a lot,” Corley said. “Our motto this year is team first, [and] it’s worked out.”
Next up, the boys will face CBC in sectionals Nov. 12, 2019. If their team morale and talent continues to take them through, they will advance to quarter finals, semi finals, and ultimately, the state cup.
