Girls varsity cross country had their district meet in Washington, MO on Saturday, October 24. The meet ended the season for the Kirkwood girls due to none of them placing in the top 30 which would have advanced them. Molly Hooks, junior, who placed 32nd in the race had mixed emotions afterwards. “I felt a little disappointed that I barely missed qualifying for sectionals, but I was happy that everybody on the team gave it their best shot and we ended the season in a positive way.”
