Over the past year, Twitter has become an outrageously popular social networking website for many teenagers. Currently, Twitter features 200 million users who post brief statuses in 140 characters or less about sports, comical quotes, frustration and news.
One unidentified individual, however, decided to take on the role of posting the behaviors and attitudes of Kirkwood teenagers. “@klassykirkwood” has gained over 200 followers since their first post on June 5, 2011. Posts from “@klassykirkwood” are sarcastic, humorous and relatable to the lives of KHS students.
